Important Notice: This Policy governs the terms relating to cancellation, refunds, and forfeiture of payments made for subscriptions and services offered through the RootsTalk platform. Subscriptions are treated as digital service products and are generally non-refundable once activated.

Introduction and Scope
This Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the terms relating to cancellation, refunds, and forfeiture of payments made for subscriptions and services offered through the RootsTalk platform ("Platform"), operated by Neytiri EywaFarm Agritech Private Limited ("Company").
This Policy applies to Client organisations using the Platform and to individual users and farmers subscribing through the Platform. It forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions.
Section 02
Nature of Services and Subscriptions
- (a) RootsTalk operates on a prepaid, subscription-based model.
- (b) Subscriptions activate advisory workflows, expert services, system resources, and operational processes upon purchase or assignment.
- (c) Once activated, such services involve committed resources and ongoing obligations.
Accordingly, subscriptions are treated as digital service products and not as returnable goods.
Section 03
Client Subscriptions — Company Pays Model
Purchase of Subscription Credits
- (a) Clients may purchase Subscription credits in advance.
- (b) Such purchases are prepaid and non-refundable.
- (c) Subscription credits do not expire unless otherwise specified.
Non-Refundability
- (a) Once Subscription credits are purchased, they cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded.
- (b) Unused, partially used, or forfeited credits shall not be eligible for refund.
- (c) Termination of the Agreement does not entitle the Client to refund of unused credits.
Section 04
Farmer Subscriptions — Farmer Pays Model
Subscription to Crop Advisory Packages
- (a) Farmers may subscribe to crop advisory packages through the Platform.
- (b) Such subscriptions provide access to customised, time-bound agricultural guidance and support.
Non-Refundability
- (a) Once a farmer subscription is activated, the corresponding fee is non-refundable.
- (b) No refunds shall be issued for: (i) early discontinuation; (ii) partial usage; (iii) change of mind; (iv) crop stage completion.
- (c) Subscription fees are deemed earned upon activation.
Section 05
Continuation of Services After Termination
- (a) In order to maintain advisory coherence and farmer welfare, the Company may continue active subscriptions until completion of the applicable crop cycle, even after termination by the Client.
- (b) Such continuation does not entitle any party to refunds, credits, or compensation.
Section 06
Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances, including:
- (a) duplicate payments;
- (b) verified technical errors attributable to the Company;
- (c) wrongful debits caused by system malfunction.
Such refunds shall be processed at the Company's sole discretion, after verification.
No refunds shall be granted for dissatisfaction with advisory outcomes, crop losses, or commercial results.
Section 07
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
- (a) Users shall first contact the Company for resolution of payment-related disputes.
- (b) Unauthorised chargebacks without prior communication may result in suspension of services.
- (c) The Company reserves the right to contest unjustified chargebacks.
Section 08
Cancellation of Accounts
- (a) Users may cancel their accounts in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
- (b) Account cancellation does not affect the non-refundable nature of subscriptions.
- (c) Ongoing services may continue as provided under applicable policies.
Section 09
Taxes and Transaction Fees
- (a) Fees paid are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- (b) Transaction charges levied by payment gateways are non-refundable.
Section 10
Amendments
The Company reserves the right to modify this Policy in accordance with Section 12 of the Privacy Policy and Section 21 of the Terms and Conditions.
